Which Hat Today?

Let me see . . . Which hat am I wearing today?  As a literary agent, author coach, and publisher, I often find myself pondering that question.  But don’t we all?  Certainly authors have to, since in today’s world they are not just writers, but also publicists, salespersons, proofreaders, and more.  Writing a book today is like some test of your multi-tasking skills.

But today I’m going to be a bit of a marketing guy.  I want to talk you into buying Robert Bailey’s Art Hardin mystery series.

I’ve known Bob for a lot of years and have been a fan of his protagonist, Art Hardin, from the beginning.  I think Art is right up there with Spencer and Stone as protagonists you’ll want to get to know and ride along with while they try to figure out what’s going on.

And Bob is something of an inspiration these days, as he’s battling brain cancer and holding his own.  I know he’s working on a new novel, too, so you better start reading the old ones now, so you’ll be ready when that new one comes out.
